The staff was very accommodating, friendly and amazing. I'm a mother of two young children and the staff did everything they could to make me feel welcome despite the mess and noise my children were making. From providing kid friendly water glasses to coloring books they were really there to help a momma relax. They insisted they'd clean up the chips my one year old threw everywhere and they gave the kids and I warm smiles and conversation. They have a great atmosphere, amazing service, great staff, great food and even awesome customers. I will definitely recommend to others. Thanks Tortilla Flats!

I cannot explain how much this family & restaurant mean to me. It is TRULY the BEST Mexican restaurant in all of the Shasta Cascade. I have very fond memories of serving chips and beans with daughter of Cindy, Lisa, and learning how to take care of customers. Working in the office (or playing, whatever we did) was a once in a lifetime experience. This family has a VERY HIGH STANDARD of how their food, staff and business is ran. I HIGHLY HIGHLY recommend eating here. The service is incredible, the staff is well established and great pride is taken in the quality of EVERYTHING! The relevance of humility is beautiful and being family owned & operated since 1978 is priceless! Cindy, Katy, Lisa, Katie, Austin.... I love you all! Bare with me please because this is worth it: Being from the Southside of Chicago, I moved here in the 80's and cannot explain how awesome it is to go to a restaurant that has the same staff for 30+ years who have that old school flare and genuine, well known staff who truly care about your service & experience. When you see grandma Katy, Cindy & the grandchildren taking time to keep this family owned business alive because they believe in it and love it, that is truly priceless. The food....... INCREDIBLE! If you walk out of there and didn't enjoy your meal or experience, foreigners moved in. That will never happen here! My wife Ashley and I ran into Cindy at Lowe's and Ashley introduced me...... the conversation I had with you one on one Cindy just showed me what a loving, kind, compassionate person you are & how much you desired to educate your kids and their friends about real life. You have such a huge heart and I know why this business has prospered ABOVE & BEYOND what 97% of businesses do. To feel the love and compassion you have for your mom, children and your children's friends who learned from you and love you immensely, you don't see that anywhere!!! You and your family have truly made a mark in our hearts forever. Thank you so much! I am so blessed to finally have met you & had you share our special day with us! This place is AMAZING!!! We Eat there every Friday night!! Family owned and make you feel like family! The food is incredible and especially the pineapple cheesecake for Dessert!! Never a bad Experience and hands down, the best Mexican food place in Northern California!!
